This month's inspiration is all about autumn patterns, textures & textiles.  Think warm & cozy woolens, houndstooth, tweed, burlap, felt, corduroy. herringbone and even argyle.  You can create your own custom patterns & textures with stamps or impression plates.

I loved all the colors and textures that Nicole showcased for this month's blog challenge. For my August Blog Hop Challenge I used some old tissue pattern paper I sprayed with Dylusions Chocolate Brown and Pearl Mist,  I also cut out flowers from the Frilly Flowers dies. I  stamped some of  the die cuts with Frilly Flowers stamp and True Black ink, The 100% wool felt is from Joann's and I used the Simply Stripes Impression Plate on Scarlet Jewel Paper. Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the PTI Blog Hop.

Make It Monday #79 Fabric Die Cuts

Melissa Phillips of the Papertrey Design Team showcases how to extend the use of your dies by cutting them out of fabric.
Supplies:
Lovely Layers die, Birthday Tags 2012, Text Background stamp, Summer Sunshine patterned paper and ink, Baker's Twine, various fabrics

12 Tags of 2012 Tim Holtz

I can't believe it's almost the end of August! Where has the summer gone. Here is my latest entry into Tim Holtz 12 tags of 2012. I used archival ink to stamp the frame and cameo, TH embossing folder with the same frame, Broken China Dabber paint and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The words are from a TH stamp that I cut apart and glued on. Lastly, the flower is a Tattered Flower from TH Sizzix collection cut from felt with a rhinestone brad for the center. Have a wonderful day!
