--Create a project using the following limited supplies. Your project also must use at least one Papertrey product.
Here is the list of supplies you can use.  You can use as many or as few as you like and any inks you prefer.  You may also add in dies, twine or glitter if you desire. Please do not use any other products besides those listed below.

• STAMPS: Natural Beauties only  (or another floral set as a substitute if needed)
• PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Simply Chartreuse
• RIBBON: Hawaiian Shores Bitty Dot

Papertrey Ink offers a variety of fantastic scrapbooking products, including lots of fun stuff for mini books!


Your challenge is to pick one of the mini books from below and utilize it in a project of your own.  You can re-create an exact replica of the designer's project or reinterpret it in your own way.

Stretch Your Stamps Day 2 Collage Stamps

 Collage stamps are usually identified by overlapping elements or juxtaposed elements. For example, in the collage stamp set we’re focusing on today, the large text stamp has many overlapping elements (large script words, smaller script, etc). It’s also considered a collage stamp because all the different stamps in the set  look awesome overlapping each other!

Make It Monday #74 Stamping on Texture

In this week's MIM challenge, Heather Nichols showed us how to  emboss paper and then stamp a design on the embossed part of the paper. After being on vacation for two weeks I quickly put together this card before the challenge deadline tonight.

CB buttterflies, PTI Frame It sentiment, various CB embossing folders and stamp sets to finish butterflies.

Make It Monday #72 Step It Up - Embellishments

My take on this week's MIM challenge was to use the happy hexagon Cover Plate. With the card you the left I used two sheets where almost all the hexagons were punched out ( as I punched them out a fun flower emerged in one of the sheets). Put them together somewhat as Erin did for one of her June release cards (love that Card!), add a butterfly, ribbon and sentiment. The second card on the right was a piece of aqua mist using most of the leftover hexagons to fill in the CP. My second card reminds me of batik fabric stripes. The Hexagon IP is extremely fun to use and gluing down all the hexagons goes pretty fast.

Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop

This months inspiration is a fun take on florals, ruffles & pleats.  Leaves me envisioning New Leaf  ink stamped onto Aqua Mist cardstock with perhaps some pops of Harvest Gold or Lemon Tart die-cuts!  Have fun perhaps trying your hand at pleats or ruffles using your favorite ribbons.  This photo sparks all kinds of amazing summery ideas! 

I love this month's photo challenge, the colors, ruffles and relaxing summertime feel  this picture exudes.
For this month's challenge I focused in on the lovely ruffled pillows especially the green one, it reminded me of Dawn McVey's notched flower die (that I now have to put on my never-ending wish list). I made my own notched flowers with the smallest 3 Spellbinder Classic Circles, then notched myself (happy enough with the results) PTI die would have made the job so MUCH faster. Oh Well! What's a girl with an extremely LONG wish list to do? I was lucky enough to find some Tim Holtz discontinued idea~ology washers paired with his long brads for the flower centers.
Dawn also showcased the "Its Official Stamp set this past Friday and I just happen to have that stamp set, but had forgotten about the fun BINGO card. The background was done using a TH embossing folder,  first I swiped Aqua Mist ink over the cardstock, then ran it through my CB. After that I took a mini foam dabber with Lemon Tart Ink and added splashes of color, reminiscent of the large pillow in the photo challenge. I also used my dabber to make BINGO marks on the two cards with Lemon Tart and Aqua Mist. The "Celebrate" ribbon is hand dyed rayon ribbon again with Lemon Tart , Archival Ink was used for the sentiment. Leaves are TANL die cuts, inked with New Leaf Ink.

Make It Monday #71 Bordered Sentiments

I'm back again this week with another Bordered Sentiment card. I have to say I love this easy, effective technique. I received my June Papertrey order yesterday  and have been having a lovely time playing with the Happy Hexagons. The hexagons remind me of quilt patterns so I decided to make hexagon flowers with the cut outs.
 I also purchased a couple Ranger Dylusions the other day, oh man are they so MUCH fun!!! You have to check out Dyan Reaveley's blog  http://dyan-reaveley.blogspot.com/video  to see just how much fun she has playing with all her wonderful products.

Make It Monday # 71Bordered Sentiments

This week's PTI challenge is from Besty Veldman showcasing a quick and easy masking technique that will make your sentiments shine. I had never tried this technique before and I have to say it's A LOT of fun and EXTREMELY easy to do! With this challenge I got to use my newly purchased strawberry patch stamp set.

Make It Monday #70: Puffed Fabric Accents

This week's challenge involved fabric and some type of element to make it puff out from the back side of the card base.  The flowers were fun to create with a coffee filter and the bloom is all the layers of Bloom Builder #3 folded in fourths and pinched at the base to create a bloom.  I am very pleased with how the filter flowers came out.  Thanks for stopping by and Have a terrific weekend!

Supplies used: Coffee filter sprayed with Ranger Color Wash and the cut with  Bloom Builder #3(Four flowers), White fabric also sprayed with Color Wash, Twinery, Pearl accents, PTI New Leaf Ink for outer edge and jar topper, fun foam cut in jar shape.
