SAF "Sprinkle of Salt"

SAF-2013-Logo

How much fun is it to add salt to stamping! We all have grown up with someone saying "Watch your salt intake". Well I'm here to tell you no more! I added salt to each strip of re-inker as I painted so the salt would stick to the paint and paper while it was still nice and wet. After letting it dry for about 15 minutes I rubbed off the excess salt and had this fun salt splotchy look to my card front.

Ingredients: PTI re-inkers in Summer Sunrise, Berry Sorbet and Raspberry Fizz(old formula).
The card base is Raspberry Fizz with a Lemon Tart painted topper, and the sentiment is from Birthday Bash in Versamark Black.

My second card using salt and Elmer's glue

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a Blessed day!

SAF "Rolled Dough Designs"

SAF-2013-Logo
I prep my clay overnight by lightly pushing my die into the rolled out clay and letting it sit. This morning I used a larger heart die and cut out the entire design. I painted my heart with Festive Berries distress ink. The large circle is a Spellbinders die cut into white CS and Fine Linen. The impression plate used is cane prints spritzed with alcohol for a better impression. The sentiment is from Mat Stack 4 with a couple of tiny hearts from Framed Out stamped on a piece of shimmer paper.

SAF "Recipe Remix"

Beginning today, August 19th, customers can post projects that they have created in the past that they felt needed just a *little* something; a project that needs a diagnosis for one reason or another.   Each DT member will select a project to "remix" to and re-create the project using a bit of a different recipe, making changes that they feel benefit the project while staying true to your original concept.  All of the team members remixed projects will be highlighted at this time and each of the customer's who had a card selected will win a $25 PTI gift certificate.
