This week is all about watercoloring with your Papertrey Ink supplies. My first card I used PTI reinkers with Friends Til the End stamp. I added some crochet thread to the Watercolor paper.
My second card uses the Splash Ink on Fine Linen Cardstock paper. Painting with the Splash Inks is very similar to using reinkers. You can paint with it full strength or add water to lighten the shade. The center of the flower was very fun to create using the Splash Inks.
Finally my last card is the Year of the Flower: Morning Glories. For this card I again used the PTI reinkers to paint the flowers on watercolor paper. My confession is that I didn't like the way I painted the one bloom so I covered it up with my sentiment. (Gotta Love sentiments)

Welcome back to Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday! Today Erin Lincoln shows you how easy and efficient cutting masks out of dies
can be. Match them up with the coordinating stamps and you have some
easy one-layer wonders that are a joy to create.
After seeing all of the Market Kit samples using sticky backed canvas, I dug out some of mine buried at the bottom of my stash of not Papertrey Ink Cardstock pile.
This second card uses Rosie Posie and addtions, Wet Paint die (coated in Glossy Accents) along with re-inkers to create the background. I found an old package of Ranger Masking product I used to make my die cut masks but must say it does not cut very well(even with my Vagabond) and if anyone has a tip or two for using this product I would love to hear them.

For my card in the week's challenge I choose to use the Daydreamer stamp set and dies along with the recently released Wet Paint dies. To add a bit of interest to the background I stamped Grunge Me along with using a couple of Tim Holtz stencils. After I had put my card together I misted it with water to add more distress interest.

commonly called has always been a popular theme for crafters. Do It Yourself is the main reason we buy paper, stamps. dies and way too many embellishments for our projects. WE LOVE TO DIY!!! This week on the Make It Monday blog for Papertrey Ink the challenge is to make a DIY notebook.

This week's Make it Monday challenge is make a card and using dies or cover plates "de-emboss" the stamped images. For my card I choose the Happy Hexagons stamp set and cover plate. I used an extra large TH stamping grid block to line up my stamps and covered the front of my card that way and then ran it through my Grand Calibur with the cover plate. I did notice that the CP shifted a little bit but I like that imperfection on my card.. I used an Stitched Sentiment stamp and die for the sentiment as well as Mini Blooms.
Inks~Classic Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz, Simply Chartreuse, Summer Sunrise and Berry Sorbet.
