Make It Monday #141: Adding Glitter with Heat and Stick Embossing Powder
Papertrey Ink's awesome Design Team member, Heather Nichols shows everyone in this week's Make It Monday how to make a beautiful card with heat and stick embossing powder and glitter.
For this card I used Tim Holtz sticky embossing powder instead of heat and stick embossing. I started out putting the sticky embossing powder and glitter on just the floral burst but loved the look of the extra glitter on the rest of the card that I went back and embossed and glittered the entire card.
The background I did first with distress inks on my craft sheet with water and swiped my paper through the inks to create this fun autumn colors. After I heat set the background inks I stamped the images onto it using the same background colors.
This was such a fun technique I am sure I will making many more cards using glitter and sticky embossing powder.
Supplies: PTI Meadow Greens stamp set, Terracotta Tile CS, Him Holtz distress Ink, TM rock candy glitter,TH Ranger Sticky embossing powder,Versamark ink.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment I love hearing form you. Have a blessed day!
