Pointillism is a technique of painting in which
small distinct dots of color are applied in patterns
to form an image. Heather Nichols explores this idea
of stamping and use a polka dot stamp and
other tools to apply color to stamped images
in a dot form to color them in. Layering the colored
dots together create wonderful blending
opportunities that take your stamped images to a new level.
I have to say this is one of my favorite mater's techniques so far!!!! I used a piece of watercolor paper that had a purple splotch on the backside and I love the extra texture and interest it gives my flower.
Supplies~Year of the Flower-Violet- white embossing, Moonshine sequins and Kraft CS.

You know I love this card! Yes, I agree with Susan, it really does pop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super fun group of cards you made today! I stopped after I colored my pointillism, I just could function any longer, I'll finish up tomorrow.
