January 2013 Blog Hop

This month's Papertrey Ink is turning our creativity towards black!   The challenge is  to try black as a background.  Pair it up with a bold geometric design or a brightly colored bouquet and remember heat embossing looks so elegant when used on a black background.

My card for this week's Make It Monday

The clear reddish funky flower was made using red embossing powder. On the dark paper it looks clear except where it overlaps the white flower and you see a hint of the red embossing powder.
