This month the Papertrey Blog Challenge is providing an inspiration photo along with a few downloadable color and sketch recipe cards. All participants can choose to work with any of the sketch or color recipe cards as a start their creations. Such a fun inspirational challenge, enjoy hopping along this month. For my second blog hop entry I choose to work from one of the color recipe cards. I also worked off the balloon in the picture as an inspiration for my card.

Supplies~ PTI Phrase Play #4, Heart-2-Heart #2 , Ink and paper matching the recipe card. Felt balloons cut from stash. "Birthday" from Birthday Classics. On the yellow card base I also used the "abcde" ombre builders stamp.

Enjoy the Hop today! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment, I love hearing from you.
Have a blessed day.                                       Angie

Make It Monday #169: Vellum Overlays

Using vellum can be a beautiful and challenging paper to use when making cards. Papertrey's Danielle Flanders shows how to adhere the vellum to your card base with a few useful tips in the video link below.

My card is a combination of using vellum as an overlay and a card idea I saw a few months ago on the CLASSroom blog. http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/06/framed-quatrefoil-floral-spray-in-the-classroom.html

Supplies: PTI Vellum, Quartrefoil CP, Turning a New Leaf die, Plum Pudding and Simply Chartreuse CS, Birthday Classics(sentiment), Polka Dot Basics(Vellum) with white embossing powder, ART Beads for flower centers and Copic colored pearls to hide adhesive.
Thank you for stopping by I hope you have a great day!       Angie
