Papertrey and Pinterest
"Stitched Thinking of You" card by Danielle Flanders for Papertrey Ink
Papertrey is on Pinterest! Today's challenge is to use a picture from Pinterest for inspiration and create a new card/project from this picutre. My inspiration came from this beautiful card by Danielle Flanders using the Stitches and Swirls stamp set. Her card reminds me when I was younger and my mother and grandmother taught me how to embroider. I have always loved "Redwork" embroidery and I hope my card conveys that love of handcrafting that was taught to me so very long ago.
Supplies:
Premade MS card base
Papertrey Ink Stitches and Swirls, Red Poppy ink, Mat Stack #5, and Thinking Big # 1
Make It Monday #52 Double Sided Stamped Die Cuts
MIM this week is to create a card using your stamp and die collection by stamping both the front and backside of the die cut, giving the card dimension and added interest.
Supplies:
Paper trey ink Harvest Berries stamp ad die set, dark chocolate ink
stamping Up Hunter Green ink, brown ribbon.
