Make It Monday #125: Defined Watercolors

Watercoloring seems to be so trendy right now.  Papertrey Ink's Erin Lincoln shows how to increase your paint palette with your ink pads for a new look. By using watercolors and inks that closely match it is fun to define your water coloring images.

Supplies: PTI inks, watercoloring paper, distress markers,Wildflower Stamp set and watercoloring paints.

I had so much fun with this technique I decided to try it with a couple of different watercoloring products.

Summer Card Class 2 Week 1

This week started a fun new adventure with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. For the next 3 weeks the Summer Card Class 2 will be given a color combination to follow as well as 3 fun sketches. Here are this week's color combo and sketch drawings.

Posted here are my cards on this week's challenges.
Monday- using the sketches and color palette:

Tuesday- color palette only:

Wednesday using the color combo for this week:

Thursday- 10 minute challenge with color palette:

Friday- Bonus color combinations

I choose the third color combo from the top for this card.
Jennifer showed how to make hatch marks on your paper with  pencil lines first, then stamp images and after stamping is complete erase the pencil lines going lightly over stamped images. I think next time I will do my pencil lines a little darker so they show up a bit more.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!
