January Blog Hop

This month, in honor of the new year, we are challenging you to pick your  favorite project from 2011 and share it with all of us!  To take it a step further, you are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by the favorite project you select.  Your new version of an old favorite could carry over the color scheme, the layout or the stamp sets.
So the first picture is from a MIM challenge in April of 2011.
I love using the Aloha stamp set. My second card is using the same stamp set, I fussy cut the hibiscus which I colored with copics. My new Kraft paper, ink and ribbon arrived today,SO of course I had to use it on my card. Enjoy the blog Hop today!

  3. I really like how the flower pops against the kraft! You can tie a bow like no other! (I struggle with those!)

  4. Your cards so much fun!! The first one definitely reminds me of a sea side holiday and the second creates a sandy beachy feel!! Great job with the challenge.
