Make It Monday #76: Double-time Bleach Stamping

This week's Make It Monday is  an old technique with a bit of a fresh twist!  Stamping with bleach has been around for years, but  you can take it a step further and stamp over the bleached areas with color for additional fun looks.

Supplies:
PTI  Autumn Rose CS, bleach, Scarlet Jewel Ink, Think Big (sentiment), Turning a New Leaf and Modern Basic stamp sets, Mind's Eye Kraft Paper.

My second card with the bleach and stamp tech.  I like this technique but I went through a few pieces of cardstock trying to find the right stamps that worked well with the bleach. This card was one of my many attempts to find the perfect combination.  I also used a piece of Ranger felt ink pad for my pink card and a folded paper towel on this smoky shadow card. I believe the Ranger felt ink pad works much better than a paper towel.
Supplies:
PTI- Smoky Shadow CS and ink, Happy Hexagons, Think Big Favorite, and Boy Basic Simple Circles. I also used my new perfect layers rulers to create a 1/16 border around my card base.

  1. Love these stamp sets for this bleaching technique. Also the color on the Autumn Rose is a soft look. Very pretty card!
