Make It Monday #115: Beyond Paper with Impression Plates

This week's Make It Monday features Heather Nichols. She has come up with some alternative ideas using  impression plates and  impressing the designs into aluminum tape.

Here is my take on this fun innovative technique. This is a card for my son who is graduating from college this coming weekend. YEA!!! So very proud of that boy. Lucky for me my husband had some aluminum tape for me to "borrow". Like he'll ever see that roll of tape again.

PTI- Sentiment Signs, Movers and Shakers, Sew simple borders, Royal Velvet ink, Aida Cloth IP, Simple Stripes IP.
Ranger alcohol inks, Cricut cut for graduation cap, MS black glitter
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a blessed day!

  1. You did a beautiful job on your card! Loving that purple with the foil emboss! Nice masculine touches.

  2. I need to go in search of some aluminum tape, this turned out great! Congrats to your college man, I'd be very proud as well!

  3. First, congrats to your son, second, awesome card. Love the purple. Love the aluminum tape and the grad cap. Great card, girl!
